Senior UI Designer

Designed, coded and updated more than 700 promo pages, secure messages, banners, emails, splash and landing pages for the customers of BB&T's Personal and Small Online Business Banking (with a user base of over two million).

• Designed and implemented a new Wealth section for BBT.com. The very first month after we launched Wealth, 167 new accounts with assets totaling over two million dollars were created — an increase that was 50% more than what was expected. Net income in 2012 increased by 49%.
• Created a clean design and all specifications documents for the Zelle mobile application, using Sketch.
• Built a library of components for Zelle that led to an increase in the application's speed by 30%.
• Designed and coded CSS animations for Zelle's enrollment screens using SVG images to improve the quality of the overall design and speed up the app's loading.
• First BB&T member to develop landing pages and email templates on the Marketo platform.
• Architect of the screen banner for ATM's promoting TurboTax. 3.7 million people used TurboTax to file their tax returns after out campaign. That was 60% more than what was expected. For this project, I earned a BB&T Olympic Award.
• Created clean templates for secure messaging from BB&T, which sped up the process by more than 70%.
• Fully re-designed existing Insite websites using newer technology to improve navigation and enhance visuals.
• Trained and supervised new team members.
• Collaborated with managers to interview new employees, providing feedback on design and coding skills.
